Hello and welcome to season two. I am so excited to be here with you today and I want to start with saying thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for such an amazing season one. So at the end of December, I got the statistics of my podcast and I found out that I was in 30 different countries. Oh, my goodness, like my cheeks still hurt from smiling so big, and I have you guys to thank for it. So thank you, thank you, thank you for allowing me into your hearts and listening to my podcast, so I wanted to start off season two with a bang, but I want to be very intentional of how I'm starting today's episode.

Speaker 1:

So I'm gonna ask you some questions and I'm gonna start off with asking how was the holidays? How was your New Year's? Did you set a goal? Did you set resolutions? Did you set intentions? Did you create a word? Did you do vision boarding? And did you intentionally say I'm not doing any of that? I just want to get through this year and maybe take a break from things. I just want to slow down. I want you to think about where you are. Did you do any year-end reflections? The reason I'm asking you this I'm being very intentional because I want you to rate yourself from one that you were surviving to ten you were thriving. And when I say that, I want you to be raw and honest with yourself objectively. Look at yourself. Do not judge yourself. How did you make it through the holidays in New Year, now that everyone is back to work and you know regular routines are starting to get back into place, how you can do a bird's-eye view and look at how you went through versus how you wanted to, and you know what you may found out when you reflect that it went better than you could imagine. Or maybe you tried to remain neutral the whole time, or maybe it was exactly what you thought it was going to be. It was hard. I want you to think about that and I want you to truly rate yourself again, with no judgments, just looking at it. Because I find right now, at this point, when you start to reflect on how you did versus how you want to be, it kind of excites you for how you can get in tune with yourself of where you really are.

Speaker 1:

And then I want to ask about your goals. Did you set goals? Did you vision board? Did you do all the things? Do you have a word? And if you did, how are you following through with them right now? Again, the reason I'm asking these things because this season you're gonna get to understand you. You are going to understand where you operate so you can meet yourself where you are at. Because when you know exactly where you're at, you can then decide where you want to go. We're gonna create clarity in your mind.

Speaker 1:

So I set a word for 2024. My word is experience. I want to experience an even grander season, two in more countries. I want to receive emails, dms, text messages saying you guys are experiencing things on an even deeper, more amazing level than you did in season one. I want to experience grander gratitude, experience deeper love, deeper joy, deeper happiness, deeper everything. And the more I grow, the more I learn, the more I expand, so does my awareness, and I also know that there is a deeper level of money. There's a deeper level of joy, there's a deeper level of everything, and even though I truly feel like I have an incredible life, I know that there's always deeper levels to experience, and I'm all for experience this year.

Speaker 1:

So I want you to choose your word, put it at the beginning, and then I want you to start to goal set or start to write down all the things that you want for this year, and then I want you to look back at that word. Are the things that you're setting or the things that you're doing? Are they going to lead you to that word? Are they going to give you that word? So for me, all the things that I start writing down, it's kind of like reverse engineering. I write down my goals, I write down my feelings, I write down how I want to feel, how I want to show up, what I'm going to do. And then I go back to my word and I say, if I did all of these things, am I going to show up as that person? Am I going to feel that person? Is it going to give me that experience that I'm seeking? Or, if it's not, how can I dive deeper so that that word is always in the forefront for me? So again my word's experience. How can I experience deeper levels of these things? Because I truly know.

Speaker 1:

Let's take money, for example. If I look at my current bank account and I look at a millionaire or a billionaire, I'm going to look at those people and say, you guys have experienced money on a way deeper level than I have, because you can charter private jets. Or if you're a billionaire, I'm sure you own your own jet that you could go anywhere around the world whenever you wanted. You, I guarantee, probably have a whole wait staff and all the things for you. You buy out a restaurant for you to have privacy. I'm thinking of movies.

Speaker 1:

But do you understand what I mean? You can always experience something on a different level. So, for example, if your word was love, maybe you want to love your body more. Maybe you want to love yourself more. Maybe you want to feel more love in relationships in your life, whether it's your personal, intimate relationships, family, friends, coworkers. Maybe you want to give more love to other people around you. Maybe you've been really closed off because of everything you're going through. So if your word was love, for example, what are things that you can do for you to start experiencing that, or start feeling that love within you, or giving that love, and that's what I mean? I want you to do this because that will keep bringing you to your intention. But I will say this you need to have clarity of the mind and that's why, for me, I choose a word. This gives me clarity of the mind and I can always go back to it If I'm falling off track or contrast shows up. I go back to my word. I create clarity in my mind so I can start taking action again. I can start doing something different again. I want you to create clarity.

Speaker 1:

So if I had a crystal ball right now and I told you this was the exact date, I gave you a date and this was the date that your family, your desired family, was going to be complete. Think about this for a moment. How would you show up right now? I'm sure you would be more ease and flow. You would be relaxed Because you had that certainty. You were told this specific date. You were told this was guaranteed. You would show up differently. There would be a lot less self-talk. There would be a lot less fear versus where you're living right now.

Speaker 1:

You don't have certainty or clarity of the mind. You may think that you have clarity because you're saying well, I know I want to have a family, I know I want to have a baby or grow my family if you already have a baby and you're on secondary infertility. But I want you to think about that. You are living in uncertainty right now, so you are resonating with everything that is uncertain. All your decisions are based out of fear. All of your decisions are based out of can you spend the money? Of course you're going to find the money, because this is what you want, but how does it make you feel you don't create clarity in your mind.

Speaker 1:

Guys, I want to share this because I was really diving deep on how I persisted through my fertility journeys. I did not share every nitty gritty detail, but the thing is, is that I learned. I created such clarity in my mind there was no doubt at all, and that's what I got to at the end of each one of my journeys. I got to the point where I created so much clarity in my mind that I knew that this was going to happen. And when I did, I was like, yeah, I know, I knew this was going to happen. That's how much clarity I created in my mind.

Speaker 1:

So through the next coming episodes, I'm going to be explaining clarity of your mind and you're going to hear from my guests, who have started creating clarity in their mind, and you're going to hear from my guests as well. You know their success and things that they did, because I want you to understand everything starts in the mind. So I want to kind of go into a little bit of discipline. If you choose self love, discipline is part of that self love. You love yourself enough to say I'm going to allow this thought in and I'm not going to allow this thought in and I know I want I'm going to stop there for a second, because that's a heavy concept. Because you're going to say I'm breathing, I'm going through something, or I just heard news from my fertility appointment that I didn't want to hear, or maybe you just used your last embryo or you just found out XYZ.

Speaker 1:

I want you to create clarity in your mind. Yes, feel that feeling, feel that disappointment, and then tell yourself don't push it down, like I mean, really feel this feeling because, yeah, in all reality, at this current second, it effing sucks. But when you create clarity, you can say, okay, this is not the news that I wanted to hear, but I know that this is going to happen, so I'm surrendering. I know that there's going to be a way. I'm going to feel this feeling for a moment and I'm going to tell myself these thoughts, these fearful thoughts, these horrific thoughts, are not serving me. If I want to get to where I want to get to, how do I want to feel? How am I going to show up and what is it that I'm going to do differently from this moment forward? And I'm being so transparent with you guys. I know the nitty gritty inner workings and how shitty it can feel. I know how shitty it can feel, but I want you guys to understand if you create clarity in your mind, if you create your mind like a crystal ball, you don't need to know the date. But you can say I know this is going to happen for me. You are allowing infinite possibilities to come in versus living in the uncertainty mind where, yeah, the doctor just validated what you are already feeling it's not happening right now. This sucks, this hurts, like what am I going to do? Maybe I'm never going to have that.

Speaker 1:

Think about where your thoughts go. Think about where your thoughts go. Where did they go? And I want you to journal about that. I want you to start creating certainty in your mind, and I know some of you are going to say how do I even do that?

Speaker 1:

You start by disciplining your thoughts when you are in the interim right now. So wherever you are in your fertility journey, let's say you're waiting to start a cycle, so you're waiting for your period to happen. Don't engage with the negative thoughts of what if this doesn't work. Guys, I'm going to get a bit more blunt with you. Guys. You choose your thoughts and, trust me, I have been on your side where those thoughts were so loud and deafening and that's all I could hear. I have been in a place of dark, dark places. Please understand. I have been there. I can't compare my journey to anyone else's, but I can tell you how dark things felt for me. I can tell you I spent a long time crying myself to sleep.

Speaker 1:

But what I want to share with you is that when you discipline yourself to start choosing your thoughts, the way you choose your clothes, that is when manifesting becomes easier. You don't meet as much resistance. You don't meet yourself starting to say, oh well, yeah, maybe it doesn't work. You start experiencing things in ease and flow because you're choosing self-love, you're choosing to discipline your thoughts. So if you just experienced loss, I want to go there for a minute. If you just experienced loss, please know I'm sending you immense amount of love and I am sending you a gentle hug and I truly am sorry that you're going through this. If you're going through something really hard right now, give yourself a hug and I'm serious. Wrap your arms around yourself right now and go, look at yourself in the mirror and say I have survived 100% of my worst days and I'm still here. I want you to look at yourself in the mirror and say I am strong, I am a warrior, I am amazing and I know I deserve everything I desire, and do that every day, as many times as the day is you need to do this to start feeling better? And then I want you to start choosing your thoughts.

Speaker 1:

How do you want to go forward? Don't resonate with I don't have money, I'm out of embryos. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. I can't do this. I have to wait for this. Take all that away. Focus on what it is that you want. This is where you're creating clarity in your mind. Focus on what it is that you want. What are you willing to do to get it? Are you willing to do absolutely everything? Are you willing to discipline your thoughts? Are you willing to study yourself to know where your limiting beliefs are? Are you willing to start loving your body?

Speaker 1:

Guys, I didn't love my body for a long time, until I started telling myself this is going to be my baby's first home. I didn't focus on oh my gosh, I have to lose weight, I have to eat healthy, I have to do this. I just kept saying this is my baby's first home. I love this body. I love this body Even though I wasn't getting pregnant at that point. I had already had three failed transfers and I couldn't get pregnant naturally on my own with my husband.

Speaker 1:

So, please, guys, start to choose your thoughts. And when negative thoughts creep in whether it's self-image, whether you're asking am I worthy, is this going to happen? Whatever questions, I want you to have a trigger. Whether it's wearing an elastic band on your wrist that you snap, or you snap your finger, you turn on the song, whatever you can do to recognize those little triggers, I want you to say this thought is not serving me. Why am I choosing to allow this in? Because when you answer that question, you're starting to understand your limiting beliefs and that's when you start to get clarity of the mind again.

Speaker 1:

Clarity of the mind is so imperative. I need you to start choosing your thoughts. I need you to start listening to you. I need you to stop listening to what others say or comparing your journey to someone else's. It's so easy to look at someone else, be like, oh, it must have been easy for you, or well, you're lucky, you had children, or XYZ. But here's the thing we all have our own inner strength. We all have our own emotional impacts, from the time of birth to where we are. We all have a lot of things going on in our world. We're all experiencing different contrast. We all have different forms of money in our bank account that dictate certain things in our life. So when you uncover your limiting beliefs, maybe you can attract that money in that allows you to pay for things in ease and flow. Or maybe you decide that self-love is investing in a fertility mindset coach that is going to get you to where you need, because they're going to help you build the belief. But the truth is you've got to build your own belief. I want you to know that when you create clarity of the mind, manifesting feels easy.

Speaker 1:

When you don't have clarity of your mind, where you choose to allow thoughts to come in that aren't serving you and I know that's going to sound heavy You're thinking I don't choose these thoughts. We choose our thoughts all the time. We just don't want to take ownership for the thoughts that we choose, because we're resonating with how uncomfortable, how awful, how unfair, how all XYZ is feeling. But when you spend more time focusing and not as associating everything with a negative association because, guys, here's the thing, when you're always wanting something and you're not really feeling grateful for what you have, you're creating a negative association. So the universe can't give you more of what you want, because it just says if I give you more of what you have right now, it's going to make it worse for you, and I don't want to make it worse for you. That will be a whole other episode on gratitude and diving deeper. On gratitude, guys, I'm telling you I'm diving deeper this year.

Speaker 1:

But I want to just focus right now on clarity of the mind. Can you get so clear on your goal that you can feel it? Can you get so clear in your mind that, no matter what your next appointment says, you know that you're one step closer? Can you get clear and clarity of the mind by saying I know I'm going to be a mom or a dad, I know that I get to have the things that I want. And how do you create that clarity? It's by you and your self-discipline, by understanding how you're operating, by understanding what limiting beliefs that you're holding.

Speaker 1:

And that's why journaling is imperative. If you want some fun journals. At the end in my show notes there is links to my journals blank journals but they are ways that you can truly connect with yourself. There is a way for you to connect with yourself because if you're not aware of the limiting beliefs that you're holding, they're controlling you. If you're not aware of where your dominant thought is, you don't know where your vibration or your frequency is. Therefore, you may be attracting more of a lower vibrational thing without even being aware of it.

Speaker 1:

I want you to understand that when you have clarity of the mind, you can change. There's a quote change what you're looking at and everything around you changes. Those may not be the exact words, but that was something that got me on fire. That was something I started thinking what is it that I'm focusing my attention on? And what if I look at it differently? How does that change? So, for example, if you wanted a car, for example, my husband really wants a Porsche. I don't know why, but he really wants a Black Porsche. As soon as he said that I can't tell you how many text messages because my husband's a caterer, he's out on the road all the time and he's like Jay. I just saw another Black Porsche, jay, I just saw another Black Porsche and I said because it's in your awareness now, but now I see Porsches everywhere. I don't want a Porsche, just to be clear, but I see them everywhere.

Speaker 1:

I'm thinking, oh, my goodness, think of if you saw a color, if you saw, say, the color red. You have it everywhere around you, but you've never noticed it the same as the Porsche. Now that you're focusing, you've changed your view. To find that color red, or to find your goal, you will start to see it everywhere. So as soon as my husband said, jay, you've got me dreaming my dream car would be a Porsche. Everywhere he went, anytime he was on the road, he's like oh my God, jay, I just saw a Porsche. Jay, I just did an event at a person's house where they had three Porsches in the garage and they go oh my goodness, that's crazy. Because I said, your awareness is so big. Now you're changing what you're looking at. You're focusing at something different, you're excited about something. So you're thinking someday I want to have a Porsche. Now you're seeing how many Porsches were on the road.

Speaker 1:

But before, take the color green, take the color red. When you are outside whether it's driving to a destination, driving to work, walking a pet how often did you see the color red You'd be like I don't think I saw it. Now, when you go for a walk, you're going to be like oh, I see red on the leaves. Oh, I see red there. Oh, I just saw a red car pass me, but because you were so focused on something else, you did not see what was right in front of you. So that's what the quote is Change what you're looking at and everything changes.

Speaker 1:

Start to create clarity in your mind with the utmost certainty and discipline yourself to say I don't want to think in negative, I don't want to think that I don't deserve this, I don't want to think so.

Speaker 1:

Then you change that to I won't think this, I don't think this, and start to think of what you want to think and then focus on what you want to think, what you want to feel, what you want to achieve, and start to see things change.
